Tools you need:
- Pentalobe screwdriver (P5 size)
- Phillips #00 screwdriver
- Plastic tool to lift battery
Steps:
- Turn off your Mac and unplug it
- Remove bottom case screws with Pentalobe tool
- Disconnect old battery from logic board
- Unscrew battery screws (Phillips)
- Put in new A1382 battery
- Reconnect to logic board
- Reset SMC after installation (press Shift+Control+Option+Power)
